SORRY YOU MISSED HER! She was the opening act at the 2011 Edmonton Folk Fest.
She was fantastic and I was in the front row. Got to meet her backstage and have pictures too! Hope she comes next summer again!

yes Imelda, happy new year to you and the band and come on back to Toronto, or better still london Ontario canada, then I won’t need to bus it to TO and we have a great venue in london, and you will fill the joint. its new and modern, but still intimate if you want it to be. Please come see us, london ontario would love to have you. We have lots of Irish here, and we love our girl from the liberties. you have such class, style and talent, and that touch of sass an artists needs to keep our attention. your band has great personality to boot. love animal on drums those faces are just priceless. you two should be on more reguarly.i met the jets on one of the rock and roll weekenders great guys. if my lottery numbers come up i would by a rockabilly club and get you and the lads to open it. im dreaming again,another johnny burnette number. hope your coming back to scotland this year.

I saw Imelda May last year when she opened for Jeff Beck in Montclair, NJ, USA – the performance was SO GOOD that I wished they just kept playing. I look forward to next time they are in the area – To everyone reading: do NOT miss this show! Imelda and her band are just great! I just received my copy of More Mayhem yesterday – I sent for it from the UK – its just awesome! Thanks Imelda! I am a fan for life!

Wow Imelda, Who wouldn’t love you ! You’ve got ‘it’ !
I saw you in Cambridge, UK 2011 – then bought all the albums I could find. The version of “Proud and Humble” on ‘More Mayem’ is so much better than the 2009 version – It needed the 5th/7th progression ! And you’re remix version of “inside out” is excellent ! – “RoadRunner”, “Gypsy”….so many great tracks ! – and your accent when you sing the word ‘come’ in “proud and humble” and “”wild about my lovin’” just …….does things….. to me !

you could have mentioned vegas sooner I would have come just to see you guys having fun, but have lots of fun, hope the new year is all it can be. come see us here in my one horse town of 400000 people, we need to livin this joint up. you are just whant LOndon ontario Canada needs to spread a little joy. Bono looked like he was having a great time, wish you could put up a good video of that for us. nothing good anywhere, just bad phone recordings. but better than not at all I guess. love yas careful travelin in this big bad world, Imelda, remember the ankle, no need to damage oneself.
